David Price left spring start early.

Rays pitcher David Price left his start earlier today due to neck spams. The team is calling it a minor issues. How did it happen?

Well, he was toweling off his neck too hard (insert “that’s what she said” line here). He was scheduled to pitch three innings but was pulled early when the incident occurred in the dugout.

Joe Maddon made light of the situation by saying, “We might need more fabric softener in the towels.”

Price is expected to be OK in 2-3 days.

Rays did play split game today. They lost 8-1 tot he Detroit Tigers in Port Charlotte and won 1-0 against the Minnesota Twins in Fort Myers.
