Bucs add a secondary coach

The defensive secondary was horrid at best for most of the 2015 season. Whether you want to blame it on the players or the previous coaches with their dysfunction, the problems were apparent.

After gutting former head coach Lovie Smith’s coaching staff, the new regime has slowly put together a staff and on Saturday added another piece to their defensive puzzle, according to Alex Marvez of Fox Sports.

Hoke coached the Houston Texans secondary from 2002-2008 and also the Chicago Bears from 2008-2014. He spent 2015 with South Carolina.

Multiple reports state the Bucs are bringing back running backs coach Tim Spencer and tight ends coach Jon Embree. On Friday, head coach Dirk Koetter hinted at keeping his offensive staff from last season together. He appears to be doing so.
