The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has re-signed safety Keith Tandy and released linebackerBruce Carter.
Tandy (5-10, 205) originally entered the league with Tampa Bay as a sixth-round pick (174th overall) in the 2012 NFL Draft. In four seasons with the Buccaneers, Tandy has played in 54 games, with seven starts, totaling 79 tackles, four tackles for loss, five passes defensed, four interceptions, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one sack, while adding 14 special teams tackles.
Carter joined Tampa Bay last season, playing in 14 games, with three starts, recording 39 tackles, three tackles for loss, two passes defensed and 2.0 sacks, along with eight special teams tackles.
