The wait is finally over as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have parted ways with safety Dashon Goldson, trading him to the Washington Redskins. The team has confirmed the move.
No details from the team were released but several reports had the following:
The Redskins have traded a 2016 sixth-round pick to the Buccaneers for S Dashon Goldson anda a 2016 seventh-round pick.

Terms of the trade were not released but the #Bucs could still be on the hook for the $4-million guaranteed portion of Goldson's '15 salary.

Goldson signed a five-year, $41.25 million deal back in 2013. He earned the nickname “The Hawk” for always being around the ball in San Francisco. But since joining the Bucs, he only registered one interception.
Goldson’s hard-hitting style was also no match for new league rules as his hits constantly found him with fines, adding up up to nearly $500,000.
