Bucs trade tight end Tim Wright

After the Bucs brought back tight end Tim Wright nearly two months ago off waivers, they have shipped him off to another team once again.

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport is reporting the Buccaneers have traded Wright to the Lions.

Wright was traded to New England along with a draft pick last preseason for guard Logan Mankins. While in a Patriots uniform, Wright was a red zone option for Tom Brady as he caught six touchdowns.

However, is second stint with the Bucs in camp and preseason has not been good as he had some issues catching the football.

In exchange, Tampa Bay gets a kicker.
