Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht continues to keep most of the team together as he has signed another one of their own.
A source tells TheBayCave.com that safety Chris Conte and Tampa Bay have come to terms on a one-year deal.
Conte, 27, played well last season as he started 13 games for the Bucs. He recorded 79 total tackles, forced two fumbles and picked off the opposing quarterback twice.
Conte suffered a season-ending knee injury in the second to last game of 2015. The veteran safety was being pursued by the Giants and Saints as well.
